The importance of offering healthy recreational activities for the community in general and, especially, for our students, has made the investment in a space with diverse possibilities for sports practice a wise decision within the range of services offered, among them, 2 indoor soccer fields, 2 squash courts, 4 tables for the practice of table tennis and other board games (chess, parquets, Chinese checkers).

The meetings, tournaments and sports practices that are concentrated on campus, give a different image to UCM and a dynamic in the social, health and healthy coexistence, having a fundamental role within the purposes of training.

Gym

The physical and emotional well-being of the university community and service users translates into quality of life. Currently, sedentary lifestyles, bad eating habits, anxiety and the difficulties of the modern world greatly affect people's health.

The interest of UCM is to offer healthy spaces with human and professional quality, meeting the needs of each of the people who come to these spaces in search of better health to achieve life habits that compensate for the current demands in productivity, agility, willingness and coexistence.

The services we offer are:

• Cardiovascular zone: equipped with spinning bikes, elliptical trainer, treadmill and jogging machine.
• Machines room work with equipment that helps to tone and increase muscle mass.
• Wet zone: sauna and steam bath.
• Aerobics classes: pilates, spinning, rumba, step, aerobics, cardiobox, aqua-fitness, TRX, tabata, muscle toning.

Swimming pool

The Universidad Católica de Manizales has a heated swimming pool, with an excellent location and highly trained instructors,

UCM provides swimming pool services to internal and external clients under different modalities such as directed classes or free practice.

TV studio

The television studio has consolidated the institutional image of the University among its real and potential clients through the production of high quality audiovisual productions for different public and private entities.

Television | UCM is the space generated by the Catholic University of Manizales that focuses on the realization of audiovisual productions merging video, animation and design, offering services to academia and external media such as institutional videos, commercials, training videos, documentaries, product launches, fiction and video clips.

Radio studio

The services offered by the UCM Radio Studio are:

• Production of special programs in different formats: chronicles, reports, interviews, radio magazines, dramatized programs, among others.
• Consultancy for the creation and development of radio programs.
• Recording and/or copying of sound texts.
• Research and development of scripts.
• Production of radio spots.
• Internship service for some academic programs of the Universidad Católica de Manizales.

Santo Domingo Auditorium

The Santo Domingo de Guzmán Auditorium, located one block away from the University's main campus, is an ideal space for different events: congresses, conferences, degrees, seminars, among others.
