Central laboratory
CALER: Laboratories, Equipment and Reagents Administrative Center. This area leads the actions and processes necessary to provide all the supplies required for the adequate development of academic and research practices. This administrative center has the necessary human resources to support all the activities required for the maintenance of the laboratories and the support of professors and researchers.
General Microbiology Laboratory
In this laboratory you will be able to use the necessary equipment to carry out your practices of the components of General Microbiology, Parasitology, Mycology and Plant Diagnosis. Here you will be able to use a trinocular microscope with digital camera - Multi Teacher - which allows you to share what you observe in real time and thus make a more participatory practice, encouraging discussion and debate of clinical cases.
Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory
The Clinical Biochemistry Laboratory is equipped with semi-automated and automated equipment. There, you will be able to perform your practices in general and special immunology; as well as forensic diagnosis in the area of criminalistics. In this space you will also find a Multi Teacher Microscope that facilitates the teaching process through the capture of images in real time, creating files by connecting to a computer.
Immunohematology Laboratory
In the Immunohematology Laboratory you will be able to practice hematology and its areas such as cells, coagulation and blood bank. This laboratory has semi-automated and automated equipment such as a Multi Teacher that allows the observation of cells with greater precision. In this laboratory you will also be able to develop animal diagnostic practices.
Industrial Microbiology and Biotechnology Laboratory
The laboratory has all the physical and technological infrastructure for the development of the academic practices of the Bacteriology Program. Likewise, the practices of the Master in Agroindustrial Microbiology UCM are carried out in this laboratory.
Biology and Chemistry Laboratory
The biology, chemistry and biochemistry components of the Bacteriology, Nursing and Engineering programs are oriented in this laboratory.
Molecular Biology Laboratory
In the Molecular Biology Laboratory you will be able to perform your practices related to molecular biology, an area that cuts across the curriculum, with appropriate equipment and technology for the processing of samples in the molecular area.
Human Clinical Research Laboratory
The Human Clinical Research Laboratory is a space with automated equipment to carry out different research projects related to human clinical research of the Infectious Diseases Research Group (GINEI).
Clinical Microbiology Laboratory
In the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory you have the necessary equipment to perform your academic practices related to Clinical Microbiology, Bacteriology and Biology, necessary for the development of your professional practice.
