Target audience:

The patient safety course is aligned with the strategies and policies of the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organization, which recognize that health institutions do not have sufficient reliability related to the control of risks inherent to the provision of health services, most of which are preventable.

Presentation:

The course was born from the growing need for users to feel well cared for, supported, and backed by the personnel who contribute to the care of their health and life, and is framed in models and theories of civility and good manners, marketing and sales, and the policies that guarantee the quality of health care.

Discipline

Unit 1

Recognize the basic and normative concepts of the models and theories of civility and good manners, marketing and sales, and the policies that guarantee the quality of health care.

Unit 2

Analyze improvement strategies for the safe and humane care of health system users.

Unit 3

To recognize the human, ethical and formative elements of the attention to health sector users.

Profesional en Fisioterapia y Magister en Salud Ocupacional de la Universidad del Valle. Con más de 15 años de experiencia en la Gestión de los Riesgos Laborales, y más de 10 años en la Gestión Educativa e Investigación Universitaria, desarrollando roles como profesora en componentes académicos relacionados con la Ergonomía y la Metodología de la Investigación, y en los últimos 6 años con el liderazgo de posgrados relacionados con la Seguridad y Salud en el Trabajo en la UCM.
