Graduate Profile
As a doctor in Education at UCM you will develop the skills of a high-level researcher. You will acquire creative thinking, social responsibility, analytical and comprehensive criteria of socio-educational phenomena. Our graduate is committed to the development of research and the promotion of educational practices articulated to the needs of organizations and communities, and participates, through the production of knowledge, in the search for alternative solutions to the problems of education and the improvement of the quality of life of the regions and the country.
As a Doctor of Education you will acquire knowledge that will enable you to:
- To design and develop research projects from a sociocultural perspective, consistent with interdisciplinary epistemological languages, which enable the articulation to different contexts in the local, national and international spheres.
- Possess analytical and comprehensive mastery of education as an area of knowledge, based on the production of educational thought from an open, critical and complex perspective of reality.
- To produce knowledge relevant to the field of education in correlation with socio-cultural dynamics, which can be communicated through indexed publications and under diverse modalities of dissemination to the community.
- To develop interaction processes with social organizations for educational innovation, integrated education management, curriculum management, as well as the incorporation of ICT in the teaching-learning processes.
- Manage research and innovation groups and projects with different organizations, territorial entities, or other regional, national and international agencies committed to the development of education.
- Promote alternatives for human development from an interdisciplinary perspective based on the social mission of education and training for the transformation of individuals, social groups and communities.
