O centro de idiomas da Universidade Católica de Manizales, UCM, oferece o programa de espanhol para estrangeiros ELE-UCM, um programa desenhado para a aprendizagem e o fortalecimento das competências comunicativas em espanhol. Os cursos estão dirigidos a estudantes, profissionais, executivos da comunidade internacional e estrangeiros radicados na Colômbia.
A metodologia de aprendizagem procura complementar a experiência acadêmica com a imersão cultural no contexto colombiano e latino-americano, desde uma região privilegiada pela sua paisagem e riqueza turística, como é a Paisagem Cultural do Eixo Cafeeiro, reconhecida como Patrimônio Mundial pela UNESCO, onde se encontra a nossa cidade, Manizales.
O programa ELE da Universidade Católica de Manizales pertence à iniciativa do governo colombiano orientada ao posicionamento do país como lugar estratégico para a aprendizagem do idioma espanhol como língua estrangeira.
Course Modality
This course is offered in a on-sitemodality, providing an immersive learning experience in a high-quality educational environment. Classes take place at our facilities, which are equipped with tools and resources that facilitate interactive and participatory teaching. Our approach is not only to teach the language but also to demonstrate how learning Spanish can contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), fostering more inclusive and accessible communication in a globalized world.
Target Audience
This course is designed for foreigners, tourists, and anyone interested in acquiring practical knowledge of Spanish from a beginner level. No prior knowledge of the language is required, as the program is tailored for those starting out who wish to communicate in everyday situations and understand essential aspects of Hispanic culture. Additionally, we offer a unique perspective on how learning Spanish can be a powerful tool in promoting sustainability and global responsibility.
Course Duration
The course has an intensity of 20 courses of 30 hours each one, spread over weekly sessions of 4 hours each. This intensive approach allows students to rapidly advance their language proficiency, reaching a good level in Spanish within a short period, while also integrating practices that support the Sustainable Development Goals.
Which modules are in the curriculum?
The curriculum is carefully designed to cover the following modules:
- Hispanic Culture and Sustainability: Exploring the rich cultural diversity of the Spanish-speaking world, with a focus on how language and culture can support sustainability and the SDGs.
- Introduction to Spanish: Understanding the basics of the language, including the alphabet, pronunciation, and basic greetings.
- Basic Grammar: Study of essential grammatical structures such as present tense verbs, the use of articles, and prepositions.
- Oral Communication: Practice in everyday communicative situations such as personal introductions, descriptions, and simple dialogues.
- Reading and Listening Comprehension: Developing skills to read and understand simple texts and comprehend basic conversations.
