The UCM Specialization in Health Administration is a response to the needs of health organizations, focusing your interest in strengthening the administrative principles of the sector. This Specialization will give you the tools to plan, direct, organize, follow and control management processes in health institutions, with a perspective of quality service and human and social responsibility.
Aware of the needs of the sector, UCM proposes this Specialization with the objective of expanding your administrative, legal, social, cultural and economic knowledge of the institutions that are part of the health system with a humanistic and ethical approach typical of UCM's training.
The Specialization in Health Administration focuses on the development and application of administrative knowledge in the identification, analysis, intervention and follow-up of specific problems specific to health services.
To achieve this objective, the Specialization will allow you to strengthen your organizational models, programs and cutting-edge health services. You will understand in depth how human, technical and economic talent is integrated in the sector to improve the health conditions of the population.
Additionally, you will have the opportunity to delve into the legal framework, the flow of resources, activities and specific functions of the institutions for their development, operation and efficient management; which will help you understand the social and legal context of the health sector in Colombia. Knowledge that will strengthen your skills, techniques and tools to make efficient use of resources and provide solutions to organizational problems.
