The Specialization in Pedagogical Evaluation at UCM is a response to the needs of the education sector to understand the nature of learners and the most appropriate methods to carry out teaching and learning processes applied to the school context.
Aware of this need, UCM proposes this Specialization to focus your interest in understanding the theories, concepts and evaluative pedagogical practices from a human development perspective, and within the framework of educational policies in order to consolidate Institutional Systems articulated to educational projects, and oriented to improve the quality of teaching and learning processes in the different academic training processes.
The Specialization in Pedagogical Evaluation aims to train specialists with the capacity to understand and transform evaluative practices in the teaching and learning processes, taking into account educational policies, current regulations and the socio-cultural contexts of students.
To achieve this objective, in the Specialization you will update and understand the didactic implications of the theories and pedagogical models in evaluative practices. In addition, you will strengthen your critical stance, from the respect for the other, recognizing the uniqueness and human, academic and cultural diversity, to transform the educational reality in the regions.
You will also be able to build institutional evaluation systems that have an educational impact and pedagogical sense in school contexts based on the knowledge acquired, providing a human development perspective.
