The Master in Humanities and Theology at UCM is a response to the generation, appropriation, application and transfer of inter and transdisciplinary knowledge between the fields of human sciences and theology.
Aware of this need, the Master's program offers you elements that will allow you to face the question of man and put it in dialogue with the response of the Christian faith, to build in dialectics an increasingly assertive vision for the solution of the problems of man and his context, developing your conscience, responsibility and social commitment, to help build communities that work for human development, common welfare and social justice.
The Master's Degree in Humanities and Theology is interested in researching topics related to contemporary man, his potential for human development and his transcendence. It will allow you to investigate and deepen topics such as globalization, the knowledge society and network societies, to give way to a more relaxed reading of the human dimension, from the needs of man, to suggest new underlying qualitative domains in the very transcendence of his humanity. This, in order to achieve new learning and competencies to address the contingencies of the environment and manage emotions and ethical and moral relationships.
In the Master's program, you will aim to update and research sociocultural phenomena in order to build new epistemological references that will help in the re-signification of our cultures, allowing you to propose intervention projects that build democratic and participatory societies committed to inclusion and social equity. In addition, you will develop tools to analyze, discern, criticize and dialogue between Hellenism and Christianity.
